Do This:
MORNING TIME
When you go into your child’s room, say: “Good morning! Where’s [child’s name] that God made? I’m so glad God made you.”
DRIVE TIME
While on the go, play a game with your child to name body parts. “What do you use to wave? Your hand, yes. What do you use to laugh? Your mouth.”
CUDDLE TIME
Cuddle with your child and pray, “God, thank You for making [child’s name]. And, thank You for letting me be their [parent].”
BATH TIME
As you give your child a bath, say: “God made your eyes and your toes and your cute little nose. God made you!”

When you go into your child’s room, say “Good morning! I’m so glad God made you!”

Cuddle with your child and pray, “God, we are thankful that You are more powerful than anything or anyone. Thank You, God, for making us.”
DRIVE TIME
While on the go, ask your child, “What are some of your favorite things?” (If they’re not sure, ask them their favorite color, toy, snack, shirt, etc.)
BATH TIME
Grab some action figures or bath-tub friendly characters and ask your child to line them up on who is the strongest, and next strongest, and next. Then ask, “Is God stronger than (name the characters)?”

BATH TIME
Add a few colors of bathtub finger paint to bath time. It’s fun and a great way to talk about how nothing can separate us from God’s love. Tell your child to mix two of the colors, for example, blue and yellow. Ask them what color they made (green). Then tell your child to separate the green back into blue and yellow. Tell them that’s how God’s love is. NOTHING can separate us from God’s love.

MORNING TIME
When you go into your baby’s room, pick them up, cuddle them close and say, “Mommy loves you. Daddy loves you. Grandma loves you . . . (continue naming people) and God loves you!”
FEEDING TIME
While feeding your baby this month, look them in the eyes, smile and say, “You can trust Mommy. You can trust Daddy. You can trust [name people your baby can trust]. And most of all, you can trust God.”
CUDDLE TIME
Cuddle with your baby and pray, “Dear God, I pray [name of baby] will grow up knowing how much You love [him, her]. I pray [he, she] will trust You, no matter what. I know that begins with me. Help me live a life that (name of baby) can see that I trust You with all of my heart. I love You, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
BATH TIME
While giving your baby a bath, sing the following words to the tune of Happy Birthday: “God loves you, it’s true. God loves you, it’s true. God loves you, it’s true. God loves you, it’s true!”

MORNING TIME
When you go into your child’s room, say, “Good morning, [name of child]! Guess who can trust God today! (Pick up your child or tickle them.) “YOU CAN! I can trust God, and YOU can trust God!”
DRIVE TIME
As you drive or take a walk, talk about the different things you are driving/walking on, such as a driveway, road, parking lot, highway, rocks, dirt, sticks, etc. Talk about how Jesus helped Peter walk on water. Wow! Only Jesus can do that! Jesus wanted to show Peter that he can trust God, because God really can do anything! And the best part is we can trust God, too!”
CUDDLE TIME
Cuddle with your child this month and pray, “Dear God, thank You for another great day with [name of child]. [He, She] is learning all kinds of new things. I pray we can keep learning about all the things Jesus came to teach us, like how we can trust You with all of our hearts. Help us to keep following Jesus so we can trust You more and more and more. We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
BATH TIME
Add a toy boat to bath time. Use your fingers on one hand to be Jesus walking on water towards the boat. Use your fingers on the other hand to be Peter stepping out of the boat and walking on water towards Jesus. Encourage your child to do it, too. You can also do it together—one can be Peter and the other Jesus. Tell your child that Jesus helped Peter walk on water to show him he can trust God.
