In this message from our Samuel series, we see Saul face a crucial test at Gilgal: would he trust God enough to wait? When pressure mounted, Saul tried to force God’s favor instead of resting in God’s authority, and his impatience cost him the future God desired to establish. We’re reminded that God’s favor cannot be manufactured through striving, rituals, or control—it is received by trusting our King and waiting on Him. When the battle feels overwhelming, we can rest, worship, and trust that the King of Glory is mighty to fight on our behalf.
