Read Philippians 4:4. What’s your favorite Christmas gift you’ve ever received? God gave an incredible gift for each us; His very own son, Jesus. Whoever decides to follow Jesus can live with God forever. We can be forgiven and experience true joy no matter what. Pray that God will help you understand what the gift of Jesus means and what it looks like for you to follow Him.

Help us remember how special Jesus is and give Him the best gift by loving people the way Jesus loves us. We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

BATH TIME
Buy a pack of glow-in-the-dark stars. Add them to bath time and dim the lights. As your child plays with the stars, talk about how Mary and Joseph traveled under the stars to Bethlehem. Angels told shepherds in a field under the stars that Jesus is born. Wise men followed a special star all the way to Jesus. Stars are a great reminder of the Christmas story and that God gave us Jesus!

Because God sent His Son, Jesus, we can trust that God is with us every day, too. Pray that you will have joy knowing God is with you.

Tell your child to look for star decorations while you drive. Many store fronts and city organizations like to decorate for the holidays. Play a game where every time you see a star, everyone has to say, “God gave us Jesus!”
