“In the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, the word came to Jeremiah from the Lord: “Take a scroll and write on it all the words that I have spoken to you against Israel and Judah and all the nations, from the day I spoke to you, from the days of Josiah until today. It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the disaster that I intend to do to them, so that every one may turn from his evil way, and that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.” – Jeremiah 36:1

It’s amazing to see the heart of God in this passage. More than anything, our Father deeply wants us, His children, to repent so He can forgive us our sins and we can have a relationship with Him. He longs for our repentance because of His great love for us.

We learn how to truly share the gospel of God’s grace and love when we have had a revelation of the Father’s love for us. Ask the Father to give you a revelation of His love today.

Heavenly Father, give me a revelation of your love today. Thank you that it is Your great desire and longing for Your children to repent and turn away from our sins to You. Give me your heart for the lost, give me your eyes to see them how You see them. Thank you for your great love for your children. In your name Jesus, amen.
