“For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel.” – Romans 10:13-15 ESV

Paul makes an important point here; how will people be saved if they don’t hear the gospel of Jesus? They must hear about Jesus in order to place their faith in Jesus. So what is God calling us to do? Paul says people cannot hear without someone preaching to them, and someone cannot preach unless they are sent. In other words, we must go to them.

There are people all around you who are ready to come to Jesus and be saved. They just need you to go to them and tell them about Christ. It is really that simple. Will you go and start a conversation today and tell someone the good news of Jesus so they can be saved today?

Lord, give me the courage and desire to go tell someone about Jesus. Help me to go and tell!
