At Home Instructions:

Say This – God gives you the power to have self-control.

Do This – (Drive Time) Place a jar in the car for the entire week and tell your preteen that any person in the car who can’t control their emotions or words, will have to give $1 to the jar. Parents are included on this! At the end of the week, evaluate: “What made it difficult to stay in control of emotions or words? What happens when we lose control?” Use the money at the end to buy a special treat!
