Get Healthy the Right Way!

Victory in Fitness kicks off on Wednesday, January 7 at 6PM with a health seminar on diet and exercise. The first half of the seminar will cover practical ways to maximize healthy eating, including easy to make recipes, meal plans and simple ideas to eat delicious food easily, along with practical ways to save money on shopping for healthy food. The second half will cover scientific, cutting edge exercises and training plans that will give you longevity and get you to optimal health. If you are tired of knee pain, back pain, insomnia, inflammation, feeling tired, low energy and motivation, this class is going to be the start to your transformation!

Change doesn’t happen without community. Scripture is clear that we are better together: “The eye cannot say to the hand, ‘I don’t need you’” (1 Corinthians 12:21). Following the Victory in Fitness Health Seminar, there will be a 7 Week Accountability Challenge where we write out our daily goals for how we are going to eat and exercise and then share them with a friend (member of our life group) to stay motivated and hold each other accountable.

SCC Run/Walk 5k

For an epic finish to this 7 week challenge, Southpoint will be hosting its very first 5k Walk/Run! Following the race will be a spiritual family picnic at the park! This 5k is not only for those doing the 7 week challenge, but for the whole Southpoint family, including kids. All the proceeds for the 5k will go towards our global missions trips.
