“And the gospel must first be proclaimed to all nations. And when they bring you to trial and deliver you over, do not be anxious beforehand what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour, for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.” – Mark 13:10-11 ESV

This word gives us great comfort in sharing the Gospel. When you don’t know what to say, don’t worry. Just say what the Holy Spirit tells you to say. There’s no need to try and make something up. Just be content in the Holy Spirit. If He says something, then say it. If you’re not given anything, then don’t say anything.

Simply say whatever is given. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Lord, help me to bring the gospel to every place I go, to all people. Help me rely on your Holy Spirit. I will only say what you tell me to. Holy Spirit give me ears to hear and a heart to obey! In Jesus’ Name, amen.
