“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believed, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” – Romans 1:16-17 ESV

Paul boldly proclaimed the gospel to all who he encountered because he realized it was the power of God for salvation to all who believe in Jesus. The Gospel revealed how to be made righteous before God. Jesus makes us righteous by His righteousness applied to us on the cross. We cannot make ourselves right and cleanse our sins. Only He can.

Lord, thank you for the Gospel of Jesus that saved me and made me righteous. Help me to boldly and unashamedly share this Good News with everyone I encounter, just like Paul.
