SCCKids Bible Reading Plan Level 1 – Part 2

This plan includes one Bible story to tell or read to your child each week and one to two verses to read and memorize each week. This plan is good for children who have a very basic reading level or cannot read at all. I will be doing this plan with my five year old son.

To do this plan well, the parent will need to get acquainted with the scriptures by reading or listening to the apportioned scriptures for each week before they tell the story or read it to their children. Depending on your time availability and your child’s attention span there will be a lot of times where you will need to summarize the scripture story or passage and focus on key points.

Level 1: The goal of the Bible plan is for a parent or guardian to tell their child one Bible story a week and to slowly read, explain and meditate on 1-2 memory verses a week.
