MORNING TIME
As your kid starts their day, ask them: “What is your absolute favorite thing to eat for breakfast?” (It’s okay if it’s pizza. Remember this. It will come in handy one morning when your kid needs a little extra care.)
MEAL TIME
At a meal, ask your kid: “When someone loves you, what are some ways that you know it? How do they show it?”
DRIVE TIME
While on the go, ask your kid about the upcoming school year: “What do you hope is different about school this year? What do you hope is the same?”
BED TIME
Pray for each other: “God, help us see what is going on in the lives of the people we encounter each day, and to help and care for them when they are in need.”
