History

The seeds of Southpoint Community Church date back to a bible study in 1996. It was attended by a small group of professional football players and eventually evolved into a weekly bible study open to the entire community. The growth and grace on the people led the leadership of Every Nation Churches Ministries to begin the process of turning this bible study into a local church that would impact the city and beyond.

 

In February of 1999, Russ and Debbie Austin moved from Midland, TX to plant the new church. Since then the church has continued to grow from the original group of 50 to currently more than 1,400 in our 72,000 sq. ft facility located on 150 acres of land.

Located just outside of our main auditorium, the Information Desk is the place to go if you have questions once you’re here.  Information on various ministries, events, membership and much more can be found by asking one of our friendly volunteers.

 

DOC’s Coffee Shop & Bookstore

DOC’s Coffee Shop & Bookstore are located on the right as you enter the Rotunda.  Feel free to stop by DOC’s Coffee Shop if you would like a refreshment before service. (Please note: only bottled water is permitted in the auditorium.)
