LIFE Groups
LIFE Groups are men's and women's small groups that meet weekly throughout the city. In the context of a LIFE Group, members will grow in their relationship with Jesus and be challenged to reach out to people in their own relational network.
Women
Our women’s ministry strives to assist women in finding & building relationships to encourage and support one another through various seasons of life.
Men
The men’s ministry at Southpoint Community Church exists to encourage men to live the life that God has created them to live.
Young Marrieds
The Young Marrieds group is for married couples in their 20s and 30s and is focused on providing great opportunities for young married couples to grow relationally and spiritually.
Trendsetters
Trendsetters is for married couples in their 30s and 40s and focuses on fellowship and family opportunities.
Forerunners
Forerunners is for married couples who are in the prime of life... 50 & up. This group offers a fun atmosphere for meeting and fellowship with others.
Sports
Sports is more than a game. At Southpoint, we aim to combine fun, competition and a love of sports while building relationships with others who enjoy getting into the game. Southpoint offers a variety of leagues in basketball, volleyball, and softball.
ASL (American Sign Language)
Jesus Christ made a great sacrifice for all people regardless of the language they use to communicate. The ASL Ministry at Southpoint Community Church desires to reach the deaf community with the message of God's love.
Local Internationals
“LIM” (or Local Internationals Ministry) is a ministry of Southpoint Community Church focusing on all who come from other parts of the world. We invite and welcome local internationals from the Jacksonville area to be a part of our growing family.
Armed Forces
There are many men and women of the United States defending this and other countries. Not everyone can go, but everyone can help. Southpoint Community Church wants to do our part.
Young Professionals
Our Young Professionals ministry is for single men and women in their 20s-30s who desire to live an abundant life in Christ and walk together with others in a fun and exciting atmosphere. Don’t miss our events that promote fellowship and spiritual growth.
SALT
SALT (Single Adults Living Truth) provides a comfortable atmosphere for singles 40 and up to strengthen their relationship with the Lord and develop meaningful relationships with each other.

Resolution
Resolution is a group of relationships with a common purpose, and that purpose is to answer the call of God for our lives. Resolution is not a meeting or a place; it is a people who love life, fun, friendships, and whose greatest passion is their love relationship with Jesus Christ.

What is Sekond Floor?
Sekond Floor is Southpoint Community Church's youth group. We have tons of fun, and we're passionate about spreading the fire of God on our campuses and fulfilling the call of God on our lives to change this generation! We truly believe that God can use ONE person to change the world. We are young people who want to be used by God in all that we do. We are ready to be world changers, we are ready to live above the status quo, and we are ready to WALK INTO THE ADVENTURE!!!
When does Sekond Floor meet?
Middle School meets on Sundays during the 11:00am service. We start in the auditorium with the amazing worship team; then we move to the "Sekond Floor" (upstairs Youth Hall) for our own service!
High School meets on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm in the Youth Hall.
What else does Sekond Floor do?
Tons! We have monthly events - a.k.a. Friday Night Live- just for fun and hanging out with friends! We also schedule get-togethers during the summer, on holidays... pretty much all throughout the year! Be sure to check out the calendar for our next event!
Want to impact the world? Then join us for our annual youth missions trip during the summer.
Last year, Sekond Floor headed back to Lima, Peru! They preformed an amazing drama, shared their testimonies to thousands of students, and helped at an orphanage. Don't be left out of our next life-changing mission trip.

Southpoint believes that every child is an enormous gift, and that our children's ministry is a great responsibility. We are committed to providing a safe and secure environment, utilizing age-appropriate lesson plans with Bible-based curriculum.
Discovery Studios
Discovery Studios is where our 1st-5th graders love to come and discover God’s purpose in their lives every Sunday morning at both the 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services. We are committed to presenting Biblical principals to our kids in creative and relevant ways.
Hands-On Pre-School
This is an exciting place for our children ages 2 through Kindergarten. Hands-On Pre-School is available Sunday mornings at both the 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services.
Wee-Care Nursery
Our Wee Care nursery is available for infants and toddlers on Sunday mornings at both the 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services.
Special Kids' Events Throughout the Year
Baby Dedications
Our Baby Dedications are held during Sunday morning services at various times throughout the year. The dedication is an opportunity for parents to dedicate themselves before God to raise their child in the discipline of biblical principles and instruction of the Lord. Our mandatory pre-dedication class offers parents practical ideas on how to create a home that honors God and helps them write a baby blessing for their child. First Bible Class
Our interactive First Bible Class allows first grade students and their parents to learn the importance of and practical application of God's Word. Every first grader that attend the class will receive a complimentary Hands-On Bible, given during one of our adult services. Watch the calendar for upcoming classes.
Vacation Bible School
During the summer, we offer a high-energy Vacation Bible School for our families. We have action-packed games, amazing worship and memorable activities that are sure to make the Bible come alive for your kids! Stay tuned for more information!

As a “Great Commission” church, the Glocal Ministry was established to mobilize our church family and serve God’s Kingdom through mission trips to other countries and compassion initiatives within our community. Global Missions
Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you…” (Matthew 28:18-20)

Local Compassion
We are endeavoring to follow an Acts 1:8 model to reach the world and impact our community. “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” We have Mobile Mission teams who preach the Gospel, win lost souls, build relationships and show the love of Christ to people. Scripture reveals over and over that God chooses to work through His people to accomplish His purposes in the earth. At Southpoint, we view service to Christ and His people - the church - as a privilege, a natural heart response to the love of Christ. But it’s not just about helping others. What you’ll find out when you volunteer is that serving others is also one of the best ways to grow in your relationship with God. In fact we believe there is no greater joy than being used by God to impact others.
Whether you have lots of time to volunteer each week or only a few hours every once in a while, consider making the kind of impact that only you can make. Your life will never be the same!
